OUR LOCAL AREA
Explore the Pembrokeshire Coast and County
This southwestern Welsh county with three sides of beautiful coastline boasts stunning beaches, memorable walks, pretty villages, hidden historical sites, and great local produce. Its diverse offering is ideal for those who simply want to get away from it all, to those who want to experience exhilarating outdoor adventures.
Wood Farm is conveniently based to explore the area. Visit the puffins on Skomer Island, the iconic St Davids Cathedral, or Pembroke Castle. The peaceful lagoons of Bosherston Lily Ponds, or jump into the deep at the Blue Lagoon. Explore charming harbor villages such as Solva and Little Haven, or Creswell Quay with lovely pubs and cafes to try a local tipple. Dogs are welcome in most places too.
An information pack found in both accommodations, has maps of walks from the farm, plus several walking path booklets and guides on Pembrokeshire, that we kindly ask you to leave in the cottage on vacation. You will also find information on local shops, cafes and restaurants, vets, etc., too.
ARTISTS RETREAT
The atmospheric lighting of Pembrokeshire has always been a lure for many great artists and craftsmen too. There are plenty of art galleries and exhibitions to peruse or purchase an original memory to take home.

BIRD WATCHING
This is a bird lover’s paradise, with resident and visiting birds. Whether in quiet woodlands or coastal inlets, the latter and variety of birds never cease to surprise. A visit to Skomer Island when the puffins are in residence is a must.

WALKERS HEAVEN
We are always on hand to let you into some local knowledge on the best walks, best places to buy and sample local produce, where to seek out artisan producers or the best pint.
